Copy Base Story to Upper
Copy the base story to upper in this section.
Previous steps have been followed in the project file named Copy Base Story to Upper. You can download the file and follow the steps given in this title on the project. |
Select the objects you want to be copied to the upper story on the base story using the window selection method. (You can find detailed information about the selection method from Object Selection.)
Move your mouse to the top of the A-4 axis intersection and click the left button.
Move your mouse to the bottom of the C-1 axis intersection and click the left button.
Objects remaining in the window you created will be selected. Also choose the axes.
To remove from the current selection, click on the wall and the door that between the axes 1 and 2 on the axis B, the zone edge between the B and C axes on the axis 2, the door between the axes B and C on the axis 3, the bathroom and kitchen zones.
Click the story copy command.
In the story copy dialog, mark story 1.
Check the copy only selected entities option and click the OK button.
The objects you selected have been copied upper. Deselect objects by pressing Esc key
