Transforming a Shearwall to a Beam

With the shearwall to beam command, shearwalls are converted to beams. At any stage of architectural and structural projects, existing slabs and shearwalls must be deleted in order to be able to define beams instead of shearwalls with two columns and additionally defined slabs, such as basement perimeter shearwalls. With the shearwall to beam command, shearwalls are converted into beams at once without deleting slabs and shearwalls.

Location of the Shearwall to Beam Command

You can access it from the ribbon menu Modify tab under the Transform heading.
