Cover or specified concrete is defined as the distance between the outermost surface of embedded reinforcement and the closest outer surface of the concrete.
Development lengths of concrete beam reinforcement should be in accordance with Development of Reinforcement per ACI 318-19 with ideCAD title. In this case, for deformed bars or deformed wires, ld is calculated in accordance with ACI Table 220.127.116.11. Other conditions are described in the same title.
Splices of deformed reinforcement should be in accordance with Splices per ACI 318-19 with ideCAD title.
