Sphere Object Arc Angle and Surface Adjustment

Cut surfaces are created according to the value entered with the horizontal and vertical arc angle properties, and the cut surfaces are closed with the surface settings.

Location of Horizontal-Vertical Arc Angle Properties and Surface Settings

You can access the horizontal-vertical arc angle feature and surface settings from the sphere settings dialog.

Specifications

Horizontal/Arc angle

It determines the angular size of the sphere surface around the vertical axis. 360 degrees means a full arc around the vertical axis.

Vertical/Arc angle

It determines the angular size of the sphere surface in the direction of the horizontal axis. The value defined at the starting angle is completed to 180 degrees. If the starting angle is zero and the arc angle is 180 degrees, a full arc occurs in the horizontal axis direction.

Close top face

If checked, the object’s top is covered.

Close bottom face

If checked, the object’s bottom is covered.

Examples of Sphere Object Arc Angle and Surface Settings

When horizontal arc angle is 360, vertical arc angle is 180

When horizontal arc angle is 360, vertical arc angle is 90

When horizontal arc angle is 360, vertical arc angle is 90, close top face is active

When the horizontal arc angle is 235, the vertical arc angle is 180
