Creating an Arc Through 3 Points

Arc Through 3 Points command is one of two arc drawing techniques. An arc is created by determining the two endpoints and angles of the arc.

Location of the Arc Through 3 Points Command

In the Architectural Program

You can access it under the ribbon menu Drawings tab, Primitives title.

In the Structural Program

You can access it under the ribbon menu Drawings tab, Primitives title.

Usage Steps

  • In the ribbon menu, click the Arc Through 3 Points icon.

  • Click any point in the drawing area with the left mouse button. This point will be the first end of the arc segment to be drawn.

  • Drag the mouse and click with the left mouse button to set a second point. This point will be the second end of the arc.

  • As you move the mouse, the arc segment will change shape depending on the mouse.

  • When the spring is in the state you want, click the left button. The arc drawing will be completed.
