Icons and text may appear small in the toollbar on 4K monitors.

There are three solutions for icons and text appearing small in the toolbar on 4K monitors.

Activate Auto Scale Ribbon Icons According to DPI Feature

  • Click on the Preferences icon in the Settings tab .

  • In the preferences dialog that opens, activate the "Auto scale ribbon icons according to DPI" feature by checking.

  • Restart the program.

Change the Zoom Settings

You can change the zoom settings.
The problem will disappear if you use 125% - 150% of the recommended zoom ratio for 4k in your screen settings while the ribbon menu is active in the program. You can follow the steps below in Windows 8 and 10.

  • Click on the desktop with the right mouse button. Click the Display Settings line from the drop-down list.

  • The Monitor Settings dialog will open. Scale using one of the 125% - 150% options in the scale and layout section.

Override High DPI Scaling Behavior

  • Select the program in the installation file and click the right mouse button. Click on the properties row from the drop-down list.

  • In the dialog that opens, switch to the Compatibility tab. Click the Change high DPI settings button.

  • In the DPI settings dialog that opens, enable the "Override high DPI scaling behavior" feature.

  • Select System as the scaling by .

  • Close the dialogs by clicking the OK buttons.
