Space purlins of steel design are created with the Space Purlin command. Space purlins are elements drawn between steel beams and constructed from a mesh of steel bar elements.
Location of Space Purlin Command
You can access it under the ribbon menu Steel tab, Steel heading.
Usage Steps

Click the Space Purlin icon from the ribbon menu .

Steel purlin toolbar will open.

Select a profile from the list by clicking on the profile list in the steel purlin toolbar.

Choose the first of the steel beams or truss overhead heads that the space purlins will form between.

When you select your second steel beam or truss head, the space purlin settings dialog will open.

The dialog includes parameters such as space purlin width, module height, number of purlins, layout etc. After making the settings, click the OK button.

Space purlins will be formed.
