Glass materials are transformed into frosted glass with the diffuse refraction feature in transparency.
Location of the Diffuse Refraction Feature
You can access the diffuse refraction feature from the transparency section of the general tab of the material editor dialog.
Enter the edit material command and click on the glass.
In the transparency section, mark the diffuse refraction feature.
By increasing the spread and sample count, the material is given the frosted glass property.
Enter values for spread and sample count.
Increasing the values ensures that the dots are distributed homogeneously. As a result, the rendering time will increase.
Click the OK button to close the dialog.
The window glass will become frosted.
Whendiffuse refraction is not active
When the spread value is 0.2 and the sample count value is 20
When the spread value is 0.2 and the sample count value is 80
When the spread value is 1 and the sample count value is 80
When the spread value is 6 and the sample count value is 80
