• The upper structure-foundation-soil interaction can be selected from the foundation tab of the analysis settings.

• If the upper structure-foundation-soil interaction’s not selected, the structure considers to be fixed at the base.

• The user choose whether to neglect soil–structure interaction per Section 12.13.3 or implicitly per Chapter 19.
