Weight (Mass) Irregularity per ASCE 7-16

Weight (mass) irregularity is defined as the effective mass of any story being more than 150% of the effective mass of an adjacent story for any of two earthquake directions perpendicular to each other. A roof that is lighter than the floor below need not be considered.

Weight irregularity is applied for seismic design categories D, E, and F.
