Composite Beam Design Results

Composite beam design results and composite beam failures are displayed in the Composite Beams dialog. When the definition of composite slab is made on the secondary steel beams, composite beam design is made for these elements. In the Composite Beams dialog, composite steel beam properties (concrete effective width, composite section neutral axis, composite moment of inertia), construction phase bending moment control, composite bending control, shear control and deflection control are given.

Location of Composite Beams Dialogue

After the analysis is done, you can access it by clicking the Composite Beam Design Results command under the Steel Design title of the ribbon menu Analysis and Design tab .
