Trimmer

Trimmers are the elements drawn on the roof opening edges. The trimmer roof detail is created with the Trimmer command.

Location of Trimmer Command

In the Architectural Program

You can access it under the ribbon menu Home tab Roof title.

In Structural Program

You can access it under the ribbon menu Objects tab Roof title.

Trimmer Settings Dialog

Specifications
Width The width of the trimmer section is entered.
Height The height of the trimmer section is entered.

Usage Steps

To draw a trimmer:

• Click the Trimmer icon in the ribbon menu .

• Click one of the roof opening edges with the left mouse button.

• If you want the sheave beam to be the length of your chosen side, click on the inside of the roof opening. Enter the width and height of the trimmer section from the trimmer dialog that opens and click the OK button. A trimmer will be drawn on the edge of the relevant roof opening.

• Build the other trimmer in the above process order.
