Coupling Beam Design Settings Section
With the Coupling Beam Design Settings, the design parameters used in the Concrete Coupling Beam Design, which are modeled together with Concrete Single Footing and Strip Foundation, are determined. Concrete cover, maximum and minimum reinforcement interval, etc. parameters are determined from the coupling beam design settings window.
Specifications |
---|
Concrete cover It is the distance from the center of gravity of the tension or compression rebar in the coupling beam to the outer face of the concrete. |
Min. tensile percentage It is the parameter that determines the minimum rebar to be placed in the tensile zone in the coupling beam. Under no circumstances can the rebar be less than the limit set by this parameter. |
Maximum percentage It determines the upper limit of the tensile rebar to be placed on the coupling beam. Under no circumstances can the rebar exceed the limit specified by this parameter. If it is too much, the program will give the message "section is insufficient" for the coupling beam where the maximum strength is higher. |
Min. B for double stirrup The coupling beam width is compared with this parameter. As long as the width of the coupling beam does not exceed the minimum width specified in this parameter, the tie beams are reinforced with a double arm stirrup. Otherwise, they are equipped with 2 double-armed stirrups. |
H for body reinforcement If the height of the coupling beam is more than the value specified in this parameter, the web rebar is placed on the beam. |
Min. stirrup interval The spacing of the stirrup to be placed on the coupling beam is chosen not to be less than the value specified in this parameter. |
Max. stirrup interval The spacing of the stirrup to be placed on the coupling beam is chosen not to be more than the value specified in this parameter. |
Max. mounting interval It has no function for coupling beam. |
