How can I back up the project I work on?
If the "Autosave" feature is active in the preferences, the backup of the project is taken at time intervals determined by the user.
To activate the autosave feature;
Click the Preferences icon in the settings tab in the ribbon menu .
Check the Autosave feature in the general settings dialog .
If Autosave is active, backups with .bak extension will be created in the folder where your project is registered.
If it is not active, check the Autosave line and enter a value in minutes in the interval. Otherwise, backups of your project will not be created.
Also, the user can take the project backup by using the "Save As" command at any intervals .
You can access the Save As command from the menu under the ideCAD logo located in the upper left corner of the screen in the ribbon menu.
