How ideCAD defines the effective seismic weight according to ASCE 7-16?

• The mass model is created automatically in accordance with ASCE 12.7.1.

• Effective Seismic Weight is generated from LLF tab at Story Settings.

• The user defines Live Load Reduction factor. Arrangements can be made in the story settings LLR section.

Live load reduction factor can be determined for each story from story settings in accordance with ASCE 7.16.
