Elliptical Arc Mid-Axis is one of the three elliptical arc drawing techniques in the program. Draws an elliptical arc with two struts and two arc lengths removed from the midpoint.

Usage Steps

To draw an elliptical arc using this command:

  • Click the Elliptical Arc Mid-Axis-Angles icon in the ribbon menu .

  • Click any point in the drawing area with the left mouse button. This point will be the center of the arc to be drawn.

  • Drag the mouse and click with the left mouse button to set a second point. This point will determine the size of the arc to be drawn.

  • Drag the mouse again. Set the size of the ellipse in the other direction and left click.

  • When you drag the mouse, a piece of arc will appear on the screen. Click the left button after you have determined the length of the broadcast.

  • Drag the mouse in the opposite direction. A piece of arc will appear in the other direction. Click the left button when the spring piece is to the proper length.

  • An elliptical arc will be drawn.
