How can I make a stepped footing design?
In the ideCAD Structural, you have the opportunity to build a foundation with foundations on different stories, such as half basement stories, or in a single story.
In order to apply a level within the same story, you can level the relevant foundations and the vertical bearing elements sitting on those foundations by entering the elevation value. If your elements sitting on the foundations are on different stories, the foundation of each element must be defined in the story window to which it belongs.
Another point that should be considered on a gradual basis is that the Superstructure interactive solution option must be activated in the Analysis Settings / Foundation-Ground tab in order to consider the interaction of the stages.
