Nearest Point mode allows you to snap entities from any point in the drawing area. It is activated with the Nearest Point command.
Location of the Nearest Point Command
You can access it under the ribbon menu Drawings tab Snap title.
You can also access the Nearest Point command from the quick access toolbar .
Press the F6 key on the keyboard .
