Define Inner Cut to Edge command creates a gap on the sweep.
Location of Define Inner Cut to Edge Command
You can access it from the ribbon menu Modify tab under Entity Edit title.
Usage Steps

Click the Define Inner Cut to Edge icon.

Click the desired edge on the profile object you previously drew.

At this stage, enter the delay amount in the "Application Distance" box on the sweep operations toolbar.

Move the mouse to locate the opening on the edge and click with the left mouse button.

A space equal to the value entered in the Application Distance box is created.

After the gap is created, the gap distance can be changed by pressing the Esc key and sliding the mouse.

Quit the command by pressing the Esc key on the keyboard.
