Contour Line
The contour line defines a polygonal area. Border lines delimit the axis edge. When the contour line is changed, the ideCAD recreates the drawn axes according to the new contour.
Functions of Contour Lines
In the ideCAD, the axis border is defined according to the contour line. Axis borders are determined automatically depending on the defined axle border.
There is no need to enter the axis length when entering the axes. Since the axis border changes automatically when the contour line changes, the axis lengths are also automatically adjusted. The user does not have to deal with axis lengths.
If the user wants to make the axis lengths independent of the contour lines and determine the lengths itself, this is also possible. To do this, the "Extend to axis border" option must be unchecked from the General tab in the Axis Settings dialog.
