For A11, (BYS)> = 3 condition is not met.

The Complete Message:

For A11 structural system type, Building Height Class (BYS)> = 3 condition is not met in (X / Y) direction.

In TBDY 2018 Table 4.1, Building Height Class (BYS)> = 3 limit has been introduced for the A11 structural system. Since the building carrier system A11 is selected and the BYS> = 3 condition is not met, the program gives a warning.

Solution:

  • If Building (BYS) = 2 , it can be used for carrier system types A12, A13, A14, A15. The selection of the carrier system type can be changed with the Analysis Settings / TBDY 2018 Earthquake Code wizard by going to the appropriate carrier system changes.

  • If the building BYS = 1 , the buildings specified in the article 3.3.2.2 of TBDY 2018 will be classified as high-rise buildings according to Section 13, according to the condition , the building should be designed according to the principles given in Section 13 of TBDY.
