Selecting Structural System
The type of structural system is selected in accordance with the design of the building.
Reinforced Concrete = This system type should be selected for the structures consisting of reinforced concrete columns and / or reinforced concrete shearwalls.
Steel = This system type should be selected for the structures consisting of steel columns, steel beams and steel braces.
Reinforced Concrete + Steel = Steel frames (steel column + steel beam) and this system type should be selected in structural systems where reinforced concrete shearwalls are used together.
