Setting Location of Beam

The location of the lower and upper beams are determined by lower and upper beam location settings. Since the walk ways fit on the lower beams, the location of the walk ways is determined at the same time when the locations of the lower beams are determined.

Select the scaffolding for which you want to change the beams and click the right mouse button. Click Properties from the right-click menu that opens .

You can also access the scaffolding settings dialog by double-clicking on your scaffolding with the left mouse button.

Usage Steps

  • Enter the scaffolding settings dialog.

  • In the upper beam box, enter the distance value for the beam to the top header.

  • In the lower beam box, enter the distance value of the beam to the sub header.

  • The location of the lower and upper beams will change according to the value you enter.

Back and Side Support Beams

You can define the back and side support beams to your scaffolding by activating the scaffolding settings in the braces tab.

The back support beams will be placed at the ends of your braces. You can determine the location of your side support beams by entering the intended distance.
