15.5.3.3
In order to carry out linear performance analysis in existing structures , the conditions specified in TBDY 15.5.3 and calculated by impact/capacity ratios (ECO) must be met. If any of the application conditions of linear performance analysis is not met, one of the nonlinear methods should be chosen.
The control of the items (a) , (b) , (c) , (d) and (e) specified in 15.5.3.1 is done automatically and reported.
The method to be used in determining the earthquake performance of existing buildings with the Assessment and Design Based on Shaping (ŞGDT) approach is under user control.
Any of the items (a) , (b) , (c) , (d) and (e), which are the application limits for the use of linear methods in determining the earthquake performance of existing buildings with the Assessment and Design (ŞGDT) approach, and which are specified in 15.5.3.1 . If any occurs, performance evaluation should be made by one of the non-linear methods specified in Section 15.6 of TBDY .
