Steel Hand Rail Macro Settings

With the Steel Hand Rail Settings command, settings such as hand rail width, length, height, section selection, hand rail and post profile distances are accessed.

It is available in the Steel Hand rail toolbar that appears on the screen after the steel hand rail macro command is run.

Specifications

Start and end post

If the option is checked, posts are created at the start and end points of the railing.

Start and end post distances

The distance values ​​of the starting and ending post to the determined railing start and end points are entered separately.

Location of the starting horizontal (handrail) profile

The distance value of the initial horizontal (handrail) profile to the elevation where the railing is placed is entered.

Distances of posts from starting and ending posts

Distance values ​​of posts to start and end posts are entered separately.

The distance of the horizontal (handrail) profiles to the initial horizontal (handrail) profile

The distance value of the horizontal (handrail) profiles to the initial horizontal (handrail) profile is entered.

The distance of the starting horizontal (handrail) profile to the ending horizontal (handrail) profile

 

The distance value of the starting horizontal (handrail) profile to the ending horizontal (handrail) profile is entered.

Number of horizontal (handrail) profiles between the starting horizontal (handrail) profile and the ending horizontal (handrail) profile

The number of horizontal (handrail) profiles to be placed between the starting horizontal (handrail) profile and the ending horizontal (handrail) profile is entered.

Alignment

The alignment of the steel handrail is determined by choosing one of the left, center and right options.

Delta X/Y

For user-defined alignment distances, alignment X and alignment Y values ​​are entered.

Elevation

The elevation value is entered for the steel hand rail.

Profile settings

By clicking on the column for strut profiles, upper beam for the end horizontal (handrail) profile, and beam for horizontal profiles, the section properties of the relevant element are changed.
