Break

With the break command, gaps are created between the 2-dimensional objects (line, circle, arc) in the drawing area. The part between two points determined on the selected 2D object is deleted and becomes two objects. In some 3D objects (wall, curtain) it is divided into two from the point determined by the break command.

Location of the Break Command

You can access the Break command under the Modify title of the ribbon menu Drawings tab .

Usage Steps

  • Click the Break icon in the ribbon menu .

  • Select the two-dimensional object you want to delete. The shape of the cursor will change.

  • Mark two points on the line. Between two points marked will be deleted.

Note: If the selection on the circle is done clockwise, the line outside the two selected points will be deleted.
